A for Life yahoo email group to provide support and encouragement to those : whose baby has been newly diagnosed; who are currently carrying an anencephalic baby or have carried an anencephalic baby as long as they could; who are considering carrying their anencephalic baby as far as they can , for those who have experienced a subsequent pregnancy after loss; those looking for information about carrying their baby to term, and/or those who have aborted/induced their anencephalic baby and regret that choice. Anencephaly Support has a strong committment to friendship and a respect for those of all faiths and beliefs as well as those who are agnostic or atheist. AS is a place of caring, not criticism. Members of AS share many topics, not just grief topics, as a way of forging friendships. Husbands, boyfriends, partners, friends, relatives, and professionals are welcome to join.
