Muscovy Duck Group

The Muscovy Duck Group was created with one purpose in mind - to promote the Muscovy duck! It is home to a community of enthusiasts from several countries where the various aspects of breeding and raising Muscovy is discussed whether it be the backyard or homestead flock raised for eggs & for table fare or as pets or exhibition. Our goal is to foster communcation with owners, breeders, hobbyists, & enthusiasts alike. We welcome new members and hope that you can find what you're looking for while visiting. Members are asked to refrain from posting information that supports diapering or any similar bizarre, unnatural or illegal behavior.

We ask that everyone please be respectful in your posts and treat others with kindness and consideration. I myself am guilty of getting carried away at times so all I ask is that you do your best to remain civil and upbeat. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with the tone of a post please Email a Moderator so that we can handle the situation as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that the group is open to members of all ages and some of our valued members are youngsters who are just getting started with Muscovy. Using tact and compassion when dealing with other members goes a long way towards fostering a successful group!! Members who insist on posting rude, disrepectful, inflammatory, or condescending posts will be dealt with swiftly!

While I hate that I have to mention this, we also must ask that members take the time to create posts that are thought out, well written, clear, and concise. We do not expect perfection, but because this group is designed to be teaching tool clarity is quite important. If a person cannot understand what is being written, the purpose of the message is defeated.
