More mp3 hosting sites -
I took a brief look at each of these, mostly I'd
seen them before, to offer you a brief review.
Bear in mind that I haven't used any of them
at this point.  If you have, or use them in the
future, I'd love to get your input to update the
entries

http://www.mixposure.com/
very slick indeed!  hosted genre spotlights, band
pages, gig lists, etc.  a little difficult to navigate.

http://mp3-host.com/
claim to be the #1 mp3 host on the web.  only the
first 200 people per day can upload.  strictly
hosting but would be useful for instance in hosting
files for use elsewhere.

http://www.artistlaunch.com/
I'm going to try these folks out.  They offer two song
upload and a bare bones feature for free but they've
been around a long time and this site is serious.
they offer full features including CD production from
the original media, not mp3's from on-demand
through large-scale production.  They also operate
several internet radio broadcasts which have been
syndicated to FM, pod casts, etc.
of course, cheapskate that I am, I'm going with the
free option (when I get around to it) and will update
this entry when I have a better feel for them.

http://audiogig.com/index.html
this one looks like a winner!  it has all the usual bells
and whistles, easy and free signup and easy
navigation.

http://www.audiostreet.net/
full service with the homepage, charts and all.
it says you get 3 uploads for free, after that they
offer more for paid options.  very easy to navigate.
looks good, lots of music on board.

By request, I will be happy to set up a fan board for any and all members.  If you provide appropriate graphics (band photo, logo, whatever) I'll also set up a fancy-schmancy spash page to enter it.  Just give me (tomketchfish, the manager) a shout on the boards.
