Performing Sacred Ceremonies
Lead a seasonal ceremony, with less than 100 participants 25pts
Lead a seasonal ceremony, with upto 250 participants (village-sized) 50pts
Lead a seasonal ceremony, with 250 or more participants (town sized) 75pts
Uses of Insight
Other magicians can recognize you magnitude with their Sight.
Each 1000pts gives a +1 bonus to the magicians Sight Skill.
Each 1000pts gives a bonus point, in same manner as accumulated Glory.
You can also accumulate Glory, and benefit accordingly
Each 1000pts of Glory gives +1 bonus to Recognition roll
Each 1000pts give a bonus point.
Glory is gained in following ways:
Defeating an enemy in combat (surrendered, captured, incapacitated or killed)
Ordinary Knight (1000-1999 glory) 50 pts
Notable Knight (2000-3999 glory) 100 pts
Famous Knight (4000-7999 glory) 250 pts
Extraordinary Knight (8000+ glory) 500 pts
If the fight is for love (to knockdown, first blood) 1/10th the glory is gained
If multiple fighters took part in combat the glory is divided
If the enemy’s plan is defeated but he escapes no glory is gained.

Heroic Death 1000 pts
Glory is gained upon marriage equal to the spouses glory up to a maximum of 1000 pts.
If the spouse dies and re-marriage occurs glory is gained again.
Conspicuous Consumption gains glory, for each £1 spent upto £100 in a year 1 pt of glory is gained, beyond 100, 1 pt is gain for ever £10 spent, e.g £120 would gain 102 pts of glory.
Any traits or passion of 16+ gain glory equal to the value each winter.
Battle participation gains glory on a round to round basis, and is derived from the size of the battle, with adjustments for various factors:
Small Battle 15pts
Medium Battle 30pts
Large Battle 45pts
This is modified by how well knight did with that round weapon skill roll

Success in tasks gains glory dependant on the significance of the task e.g.
Trivial Task (save a maid from a wolf) 1pt
Ordinary Task (carry a message through unknown territory) 10pts
Heroic Task (free prisoners from a tribe of giants, or carry a message safely into a very dangerous place) 100pts
Very Heroic Task (lead a tiny army to repel a huge group of Irish invaders) 250pts
Extraordinary Task (rescue Queen Guenever from death) 1000pts
