Ground Control is contacted on 121.8 MHz, plane is directed to terminal.

Clearance Delivery is contacted on 118.85 MHz, instructions are given to pilot.

Arriving planes are most easily picked up on the final approach channel.

In addition to Port Authority Police/Fire, Newark Airport is served by the Newark (154.13) and Elizabeth Fire Departments, and Newark EMS (205 or 215 alerted on 155.295, comm on 155.4).

 

NorthSTAR MedEvac is also alerted on 155.295, and operates as Lifeguard 3GP.
