BIOGRAPHY:
Nancy, a child prodigy, was born in Ashrafiyeh, Lebanon, on May 16th, 1983. Since she was a little kid, Nancy loved singing. She started singing at the age of 8 traditional songs for Fairouz etc.. with her paternal grandmother, who had a lovely voice, too. Her mother recalls Nancy was trouble in eating... Her dad had real belief in his daughter's talent, and he had her going from competition to another (which Nancy all won) and this may have taken away the fun of her childhood. But it all payed off, didnt it? It is true like they say, and Nancy believes that saying, "You harvest what you plant"..
.. In 1995, when Nancy was 12, she participated in a show called "Nojoum Al-Mustaqbal" (Stars of the future) for young talents. It aired on Future TV and TeleLiban. Nancy won GOLD in the "Traditional Lebanese" category, when she sang for Um-Kalthoum.
A mere teenager, at the age of 15 - 16, Nancy had her first album released, called "Mi7tagalak" (I need you) in 1998. Nancy's first video, Mi7tagalak, was a top 1 video for three weeks after its release. Nancy then released in 2001 (age of 17-18) her second album called "Sheel 3younak 3anni" (Take your eyes off of me).
With one video for Sheel 3younak 3anni filmed with Guy Za7lan. The album, with its Traditional Lebanese style, was able to achieve success throughout the Arab World, and Nancy's name had begun to be known (not as much as now). Nancy's dad took care of managing the works, as well as the writer 3issam Zgheib.
It was in Fouad 3awwads (Nancys music teacher) place, where she was listening to song by Suheil Fares (probably 3einan Tara), where she had met Jiji Lamara.. it was all a coincidence.. Nancy liked the song, and wished it was hers, so Jiji just gave it to her! And he asked if she liked him to be her business manager... and they spent a few months "trying each other out"... and they started working on 'Ya Salam' and the video, Akhasmak Ah.
Nancy's third album (Relax-In, Megastar Co.) was her biggest hit then, and it had made the "Best-selling 2003" list! "Ya Salam" (How wonderful) included 3 hit songs, Akhasmak Ah (I'd Get Upset from You), Ya Salam, and Yey (Se7r 3youno)- (The Magic of his Eyes).
On April 14th, 2004, Nancy's much awaited 4th album was released (one day after the video). "Ah w Noss" had made the charts the day it was released. Yes, it was a "bomb" --literally. By "Ah W Noss", Nancy was able to prove that she is a singer to stay, and not "fade out as fast as she became famous", for the album was even more successful than "Ya Salam".
Ah w Noss, too, was a best-selling album in 2004! The album included 11 songs, and 4 hit videos, "Ah wi Noss", "Lawn 3younak" (The color of your Eyes), "Oul Tany Kida" (Say That Again) which is the Coca-Cola hit song, and "Inta Eih" (What are you?) the classic song.
After "Ah w Noss"'s tremendous success, Nancy's responsibility had become greater. And she started working on her 5th and latest Album, "Ya Tabtab Wa Dalla3" (I Pat & Spoil). In her fourth Coke commercial, (released on my Bday :P) Nancy sang her hit song "Moegaba" (Admirer) as a single. A few months later, on Feb. 15th, 2006, the album was released (3 days after the video) for "Ya Tabtab". And a video was released for "Moegaba" a while afterwards. The 2 hits have crashed TV channels, and the album topped the charts on its first day. Nancy, though, had filmed a third song as well, "Ana Yalli" (I'm The One) which she sang in her first DAMAS jewelry commercial. "Ana Yalli", the third hit, is everyone's ringtone! The song had huge success even though its video has not been released. The video's release was delayed, for some reason, and Nancy filmed "Ehsas Jdeed" (A New Feeling) with Saeed El-Marouk for the first time. Nancy will be filming at least 7 videos from this album, for each song truely is a hit and deserves to be a video.

It was then, when Coca-Cola, the world-famous soft-drink company, offered a contract with Nancy. But the conditions changed after Ah wi Noss was a huge hit. And both parties benefitted with the contract. The new face for Coca-Cola, Nancy, has released 4 commercials with International directors, and the great commercials achieved huge success and appeal among people. Coca-Cola is helping sponsor Nancy's concerts and works.
