Needle Tatting Two was the over-flow site for Needle Tatting with Tatman, which was closed due to his health. Effective 9/2002 this site, "Needle Tatting Two", has been re-opened and is now run and managed by Roger aka Freedman. Roger aka Freedman It isn't possible to copyright a technique, a technique is free for anyone to use, it's the form in which it is written that cannot be copied. | | A Little About The Group and Group Members Needle Tatting Two, was started basically for the overflow of "Needle Tatting with Tatman" group. That group started 10-26-00. Which was closed due to my health. I started Needle Tatting back in 1995, and started the group because there was not much going on with Needle Tatting Help on the web. Since then there have been many groups who have started and are trying to keep this wonderful Art of lace making alive. We have a great group of Tatters in the group and you will get some great replies, and see some great questions. I encourage everyone to make suggestions, as sometimes if you try one persons way it may not work as well as another's. I myself have learned some techniques to try, just by reading some of the messages other group members have left. You can browse the site all you want, please feel free to. But if you want to ask a question you must join the group. You do not have to feel obligated to leave messages, but we encourage everyone to feel free to, and to add an album of your work if you wish. We enjoy seeing others work, and if you have an original Pattern and would like it posted here, please let us know. As you will see on the side bar we have a couple of original patterns of our group members. For those who are not familiar with Needle Tatting, I suggest reading and looking through some of the How To's and Patterns and see if you might enjoy it. Needle Tatting is much easier than the shuttle, but once you try the Needle you may just decide to attempt the Shuttle too. You can join Needle Tatting Two by clicking the side bar "Join Now" once you looked over the site, or just click here if your ready now. | Site rules are easy to follow, we will not allow a site war, flaming of other members, or those in another group. We respect the opinions of all our group members and realize some may have an opinion different than our own. If there should arise a difference in opinion about a message or a member, please bring it to the attention of the management first. Management will try to resolve the problem in a timely and professional manner.
The only other rule is please respect the Copy Rights of others. Most patterns on the web are works by others, they put a lot of time and effort in making nice things for everyone. Most patterns have copy rights and basically means you can make them for your own personal use, but may not be used for sale/profit, without written permissions from the designer.
