Advance notice that Elkhound Leisure are planning a walk for either Saturday or Sunday July 19th or 20th - so try to keepdates free. 

 

Nothing definite yet but location is possibly to be Dovers Hill (Nat Trust) (near Chipping Campden I think) and include a visit to the Fleece Inn in Bretforton for light refreshment.

 

More details when they are agreed!!!

 

FYI all will be welcome including non-Elkhounds!!!

ELK Companion Dog Show, held at Horspath, Oxon on Sunday April, 17 2006

 

Judge was Mrs Linda Thoma (Shimani)

 

105 dogs were present making 399 entries for the 19 classes.

Thanks to the Exhibitors and the generousity of the Committee and Helpers "The Animal Health Trust Ophthalmology Unit" will benefit by approx £500.00 raised on the day.

 

In addition there was a stall run by Elkhound Rescue which I understand raised £86.

BIS was Miller's English Springer Spaniel

RBIS was  Baldwin's Boxer

BPIS was Peach's Beagle

 

My thanks to all who supported the event (over 20 Elkhounds were entered!) and for all the hard work by the Committee and Helpers on the day.

 

The venue has been booked again for Easter Monday 2007!
