Minas Trith - Formerly named Minas Anor, it is where the peoples of Gondor live.
Mirkwood - Formerly named Greenwood, it is the place of Thranduils realm
Mordor - Sauron's dark land in the east.
Moria - The old city of dwarves under the Misty Mountains.
Mount Doom - The great volcano that the one ring was foraged in. In the heart of Mordor.
Nargothrond - The hidden city of Finrod Felagund.
Narog - The river that Nargothrond was situated on.
Numemor - A land where the elf-friends lived in sight of the West. It sunk when the King set foot in the West.
Orthanc - The great stone tower built by Numemoriens that Saruman turned into his fortress.
Prancing Pony - An inn in Bree where the hobbits met Aragorn.
Rohan - Land where the horse riders of Rohan live.
Rivendell - Also called Imlandris, it is the house of Elrond.
Shire - The western land where hobbits live.
