FLIGHT TRAINING SYLLABUS
AND RATES
FIXED WING PROGRAM
You must be a minimum age of 14 years. And complete the application forms provided by Transport Canada and the Category 4 Medical Certificate.
Our flight training program consists of two levels of instruction.
LEVEL 1
Ground School 5 - 4 HOUR SESSIONS
This covers chapter 1 to 18 of the Ultralight Aeroplane Manual specified by Transport Canada Civil Aviation. This cover rules and regulations of the Air. CAR's Canadian Air Regulation are the rules of the air similar to what you follow while driving your car on the road.
The Ground School will also cover all aspect of flight such as Theory, Forces, Airfoils, Propellers, Meteorology, Navigation and Radio Procedures.
LEVEL 2
FLIGHT TRAINING 4 Stages of training and exercises.
Approximately 12 - 15 hours of compete instruction on all aspect of flying the aircraft. This program will take you from a completely new student to a competant and skillfull pilot ready to solo an aircraft. You will receive a Student Pilot Permit prior to your solo. This will allow you to fly solo only under the supervision of a licenced instructor.

ADDITIONAL FLIGHT TIME FOR AIRCRAFT AND INSTRUCTOR IS $125.00 PER HOUR
TRANSPORT CANADA CIVIL AVIATION requires that you write an exam at one of their locations and acheive a 60% grade to hold a Pilot Permit for Ultralight Aeroplane.
PARAWING POWERED PARACHUTE PROGRAM
You must be a minimum age of 14 years. And complete the application forms provided by Transport Canada and the Category 4 Medical Certificate.
GROUND SCHOOL 5 Session 4 hours
The ground school program for the Powered Parachute may follow the same program as the Fixed Wing Program shown above, but will cover specifics to the parawing aircraft.
This covers chapter 1 to 18 of the Ultralight Aeroplane Manual specified by Transport Canada Civil Aviation. Also covered are the Aerodynamics and specifics of the Powered Parachute 2 axis aircraft.
FLIGHT TRAINING
Minimum Requirement of 5 hours flight time 2 hours of which are dual flight time.
This training time covers all aspect of flying the powered parachute. The take of and landing requirements remain in effect as required by the fixed wing ultralight.
