Otto Felix was honored to have his short film "Famous Blue Raincoat" featured to kick off the opening ceremonies, before Dirk Benedict premiered his movie "Cahoots". Otto's "Famous Blue Raincoat" is a wonderfully written and produced short film about one man writing to another after having a love affair with the man's wife. It was certainly a must see short film at the film fest.
Otto also held a "Reel Talk" seminar in which he featured his movie "South of Heaven, West of Hell". Otto also showed actual video clips of Mick Sanders, an inventor/mechanic, who built a race car for his quadriplegic son. Otto narrates this awesome actual video footage from the garage of Mick Sanders as well as footage of his son during a race. Otto also shows how Mick Sanders set up the race car in order for his son to be able to race it. This movie entitled "Wheels" is a true story of a father's love and ingenuity to help fulfil his son's dream and passion for racing, after the death of his wife and mother of five children. We all cannot wait for the completion of this movie. The clips we saw were definitely of an award winning motion picture in the making.
