Code of Conduct

OMTS intends to provide an event that everyone can enjoy. The organisers do not want to "play the heavy" with anyone, but certain standards of behaviour will be expected.

1. All participants must shower at least once during the convention (the management would prefer that you do it in the privacy of your own home or lodgings).

2. Deodorant use is encouraged.

3. OMTS will not take any responsibility for your games, figures, terrain, equipment or other belongings. The hall will be locked at night, but any gear left will be at the owners risk. However OMTS will take all reasonable precautions that are within it's power.

4. If you damage any figures or models belonging to other people, you are responsible, not OMTS.

5.  The tables, chairs, tea & coffee will be provided during the convention. There are a limited number of cloths and terrain pieces which will first be allocated to the official competitions.

6. Some figure gamers will bring along cloths and/or some terrain. It is not compulsory to bring terrain to Southcon, except where it may be needed for special mission etc.

7. The umpires/referees decision is final. They may apply any penalty for bad behaviour, excessive arguments, "beardyness" as they see fit.
8. Any aggressive behaviour towards the officials or fellow gamers will be dealt with harshly.

          1. For verbal abuse or threatening behaviour, one warning from the duty member and a cool down period of 10 minutes which comes from your competition time!

          2. Any repeat performances or actual violence and you will be expelled from the tournament/convention. We will not refund any fees paid.

9. Have we mentioned about having to shower?

10. Everyone is here to play games and have a good time, you wouldn't want your experience spoilt by someone else's behaviour, so don't you spoil anyone's with yours!
