Welcome to this very special web site for our Pacific Beach community in sunny Southern California.

   This is a place where residents and business owners of Pacific Beach can come together and work toward improving our little beach community.  It's a place where we can get involved and solve problems.  It's where we can make a positive difference.  The way things sometimes are going in our little community, that will be quite a welcome novelty, to be sure.  But it's what we need to do.

   You will see, right away, that we don't gloss over anything or leave anything out.  We leave that up to the local print media.  What you see here is a willingness to face that unvarnished truth about what's really going on around here.  It's the very necessary first step if one really wants to start to deal with our problems.

   We hope you will want to join this site. (It won't cost you anything.)  Once you do, you will be able to put your messages and announcements on our Message Board.  (And, of course, we want all who participate to do so in a responsible manner, and I know you would have it no other way.)

  You will want to see our Message Board.  That's the place where you will find the first fully honest community dialogue this community has ever had.

   Next, you may want to take a look at The Complete 2/8/06 Statement For TV You Never Saw.  That announcement will show you what we have been up against while trying to reestablish our Pacific Beach Citizens Patrol.

   The page that gives you the inevitable conclusion of the Patrol efforts is titled A Sad, Final Word From The Patrol.

   After that, the page titled Questions & Answers About Pacific Beach Crime will give you the big picture.  And the Crime Reports will keep you right up to date.

   And we have a Schedule of Pacific Beach Events page you will want to see and a page called The PB Mural & Arts Fair Idea where you can see another effort that probably will never become a reality.  Or will it?

   There are many, many more pages on this web site.  And, if you find you are not happy with some of the negative information you see here, you are free to roll up your sleeves and become part of the efforts to turn things around.  In other words, it's up to you.
