ONE TIME EVENTS
ON-GOING SPECIAL EVENT: Group personal self-defense sessions for the women, the elderly and store owners of Pacific Beach which will include your own Pepper Spray Pen. To find out more about this, call 858/488-8222 for details. (Other areas around our beach community have also requested these sessions and we're doing it for them as well.)
[ Occurred ] Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006 at 6:30PM, it has been announced that the Mayor and other city officials will come here to meet Pacific Beach (to the Middle School Auditorium -- 4676 Ingraham). This makes the third time this has been attempted. With the other two, the event was cancelled and our crime fighters were aced out of it. (Somebody didn't want crime to be a major topic.) This time our crime fighters were kept out of it right from the beginning. So, if you can, be there, and tell them that this high level of crime is not acceptable in any way whatsoever. (NOTE: THEY SAW TO IT THAT THE SERIOUS CRIME ISSUE WAS NOT ADDRESSED PROPERLY.)
[ Occurred ] THIS WAS THE FINAL MEETING --- SEE PAGE "A sad, final word from the Patrol" FOR THE FULL STORY. The Pacific Beach Citizens Patrol will be holding its regular monthly public meeting at the Pacific Beach Recreation Center (at Diamond/Gresham) this coming Saturday, June 3, 2006, from 10:AM 'till noon. If you are a member of the Patrol or you're just interested in the security of our community, you will want to attend this meeting. It's all about the organizational and operational functions and should be interesting for everyone. (These meetings are held the first Saturday of each month at this time and location.) [ Occurred ] There will be a very special public self-defense meeting held at the Pacific Beach Library (4275 Cass St.) on Saturday, April 8, 2006, from 10:am to noon. Be there and find out how to better protect your home, your business, your vehicle and yourself. It's a public education function of the Pacific Beach Citizens Patrol. You don't want to miss this event.
[ Occurred ] The SavePB organization is having an important public meeting on Wed., March 29, 2006 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Pacific Beach Libaray (4275 Cass St.). It's a session for public suggestions and ideas for our community for this year. What can we do to really change the image of Pacific Beach? Let's all get together and figure this out. See you there?
[ CANCELLED ] TO FIND OUT THE SHAMEFUL REASON, Call 858/488-8222. Pacific Beach Meets The Mayor.
