PACIFIC BEACH CRIME REPORT for the month of:
July — 2007 Covering most of Pacific Beach in a small, 1 mile radius from Missouri & Gresham.
These monthly reports are now only available on our PB Involvement web site. The lack of support and suppression of the serious crime information by so-called community "leaders" and by the local community weekly paper has, after two years, finally managed to destroy the efforts to bring back the Pacific Beach Citizens Patrol, the wide distribution of the monthly crime reports, various educational programs, and many other elements of that important effort.
However, on this web site (at groups.msn.com/PBInvolvement), you can still see the crime problems we must face. This web site will remain the last bastion of the whole truth about our little beach community. We hope that you will remember the personal sacrifice of time and funds that have been given and continue to be given to maintain this web site, distribute the related flyers and produce important new educational programs for the community.

IMPORTANT COMMUNICATIONS:
This last month shows us the usual unacceptable crime in this small one mile radius of Pacific Beach. It also shows us that there are a few very disquieting spikes in the data. One example of this is with assaults, which are way up to 53 in this last month period. And the total of all incidents for the period is at 248.
The San Diego Weekly READER became the first local paper to publish some of the shocking reasons why this sort of situation continues to plague our area. Now it’s a question as to whether there are enough folks who will step up and help fashion some worthwhile, workable solutions. (Call 848/488-8222 if you care.)
