I was born in 1979, as I grew up I had to endure cruelness by children and some adults, no one knew what I had till in 1999 I met a Genetic councillor, she asked me questions, looked at my medicle records and did tests like take blood ect.
In 2000 this Genetic councillor told me "I believe you have PHACE Syndrome", she had only heard of four other cases in the United States of America, so as far as we know I am the only one in New Zealand with it.
This of course might have chaged but so far have not heard of anyone else in New Zealand with it.
