Triennial Review of the Auburn Zoning Ordinance

The Triennial Review process has been completed. (In addition, the requirement for a Triennial Review has been removed from the zoning ordinance.)

Changes to the zoning ordinance, which incorporated many of the items raised during the Triennial Review, have been approved by the Planning Commission and the City Council.

An updated version of the Zoning Ordinance is available at http://www.auburnalabama.org/planning/ZoningOrdinance/Dec06ZoningOrd/zo1206comp.pdf .

Further discussions of planning & zoning issues, and possible future code amendments, are underway in Planning Commission work sessions.

The next Planning Commission work session will be on Thursday, February 22, 4:00 pm. The topic will be University Service (US) district zoning regulations (Held in the conference room, Development Services Bldg, 171 N. Ross St, Auburn.)
