Sometime back I created a new community site on MSN. At first I intended to use it only for prison issues and info but, as with most ideas in life, I have had to review the situation and make changes.
With 448 registered voices we should be able to bring about positive changes in the world..provided all members bring their straw to the stack. Some have and do..but I know many just join for whatever reason they may have had at the time and never come back or just lurk in the shadows to find out the status quo and report back to other groups.
Well..God sees all and knows our hearts and I am relying on Him to use this group to help those in need..no matter how small the 'donation' is. I myself am aiming more at 'Children and Family' issues as, if things are messy at home they become messy out on the streets. We need to invest in our children and not use them to line our wallets and as punchballs for our own frustrations. We need to emphasize respect and caring and be good examples in our own small area of the planet. Change..as Michael Jackson points out..starts with 'the man /woman in the mirror'.
( Sadly he seems to have forgotten that song.)
When writing prison penpals the key to success is ' be cautious'. I have my penpals and enjoy corresponding with them..some more than others as it is with all things. However it is easy to become emotionally involved with those who send out romantic signals and this can cause alot of unnecessary heartache and bitterness. Remember that the penpals, and especially those on Death Row, tend to receive lots of mail and the bulk of it is usually from the opposite sex.
Legally one has to be 18 years old to correspond with adult inmates. This is a wise ruling and should not be broken.
Should I post any information that causes offence or violates rules and regulations, please inform me and I will remove it. I always strive to post the url to an article or website that has content which reflects on what I am trying to achieve. My main aim is to wage war against injustice and I do not make a cent out of the time I spend working on my sites.

Please do not bother to apply for membership in this group if you are just going to use it to advertise your own or other groups. I may consider your application if you contact me first to ask my permission.
When applying to join please tell me why you want to join. This group is essentially for prison issues and not for seeking personal penpals who are not prisoners.
Photos that tend to be explicit will not be published. Should anyone find such a picture on this site please let me know and I will remove it.
