Dear Ms. Ezelius:
Thank you for your email regarding Mr. Green.
As attorneys, we are unable to discuss confidential client matters without the express
permission of our client. We are ethically prohibited from discussing Mr. Green's
potential claims with you or anyone else unless and until we were to receive his
express consent. When we are contacted regarding a prisoner, our policy is to ask
that the prisoner be told to write directly to our office.
I can tell you, generally, that we are very concerned about the use of
pepper spray and the allegations that Washington CI guards have coerced protective
management prisoners into dangerous double-celling via the use or threatened use of
chemical weapons. We will continue to investigate that situation.
If you are in contact with Mr. Green, I urge you to have him contact us directly with his concerns.
Thank you,
Christopher Jones
