The universe will forever be permeated with the sounds of GONN!
Hi Brian,
Thought I would bring you up to date on the band. We have practiced 3 times now. Per your request we have learned The Wind. One of my personal favorites. Craig has lined up alot of gigs for us over the summer before IRHOF weekend. So by then we should sound pretty good. We have gone through about 40 songs. Craig will pick 25 for the band to zoom in on. Hope all is well with you and family. Looking for to September. The BBQ is a go we have all made reservation in Mason City. If you want any of the dates or places we are going to play Craig has the list. Keep in touch.
Dave J. Gonn Drummer.
THE BAND IS BUSY REHERSING AND MAKING PLANS. I THINK DAVE WROTE TO YOU A LITTLE, THEY ARE BUSY MAKING A WORKABLE SCHEDULE FOR EVERYONE AND YET TRYING TO PLAY AS MANY GIGS THIS SUMMER AND FALL AS IS POSSIBLE. THEY HAVE ABOUT 12 CITIES THEY ARE CONSIDERING-EVERYWHERE FROM NEW YORK TO LAS VEGAS. SO FAR BESIDES THE INDUCTION OF COURSE THEY WILL BE PLAYING IN NEW ORLEANS, AUSTIN, KEOKUK AND BURLINGTON IA.IT WILL BE ALOT OF FUN. I LOOK FOR THEM TO ADD ABOUT 4 TO 6 MORE GIGS AND THEN CALL IT A DAY .AT ANY RATE IT WILL BE FUN.

LETTER FROM MIKE SEMRAD, NEBRASKA ROCK 'N ROLL HALL OF FAME
Craig:
OK..you got me !! That was a fabulous show at GONN's induction to the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction. I have to admit I was a little "aftraid" of what I was going to hear (not hearing any of the bands' cuts before..but reading lots of promo). "The Loudest Band In The World"...."Punks Along The Mississippi"....?? hummm.... How was this going to fit into a show with lots of "Mustang Sally's" and similar 60's band staples from the past?
I wasn't sure what to expect with GONN.
A simply AMAZING set. The power, the energy, the stage prescence, song selection and frankly, your vocals had me raising my index finger to the sky on at least several songs. You literally "stalked the stage" glaring at the crowd...great stage visual...!!!
I just wanted to congratulate you and let you know you have a NEW GONN fan!
