The Pspot's weekly music trivia is back! Each week, The Pspot will post at least one new advanced trivia question regarding Pspot related music (primarily garage, psychedelic, pop-sike, obscure pop & gum from 1964-1972). The questions will be directly from The Pspot or from original 60's band members who have supplied questions and answers related to the band or artists. Some will be illustrated, some will be multi-part, and others will even have a prize that will go to the first to answer correctly. The Pspot will leave ALL questions, answers and winners posted for future referral.

The illustration below is from the front cover of a 1968 soft-psych-pop LP of an all-girl band from Los Angeles. The LP was on the United International label, and only 500 original covers were made. A member of the band, Rosemary Lane, went on to sing back-up for Jackson Browne. Name the band and the album title.

Name the Dallas, Texas 60's garage band illustrated below. They released 4 singles off the Bismark label, and their (best) second release from late 1965 was remade by the neo-garage/punk band The Brood.

The 60's band from Beverly, MA formed in early 1964 and released several singles but only one LP (Tower label), which was released in 1968. The illustration below is from the front cover of that LP. The LP consisted of a cut titled "Kona, Idaho" and a masterpiece psychedelic cut (IMHO) about a man selling a wonderful fruit "jam" Name the band, the LP title and the psychedelic classic.

Answers: The Mosquitoes (seen on episode #48 'Don't Bug The Mosquitoes' on the sitcom GILLIGAN'S ISLAND). All but Les Brown Jr. were actually members of The Wellingtons who sang the theme song "The Ballad Of Gilligan's Island." The Peppermint Trolley Company sang the theme to The Brady Bunch during the first season.
