"Lord, How do I pray for her? My hope is that you are continually convincing her that there is life beyond her pain, that you are equipping her for something she would/could not have been able to even conceive of a year ago. You have chosen to use this season of extraordinary pain and, at times, crippling brokeness to lead her to a place she never would have found otherwise with you. Somehow, I pray you would call her to minister to women whom have been bruised and/or broken by men pretending to know you.
Thank you for this extraordinary season in her life. You are shaking loose every hindrance, evey distraction, tearing down every wall, and rebuilding a mosaic that more accurately reflects who you are in her. Thank you for the way in which you are gently proving to her that you are faithful and do not abandon. You are humble and do not abuse. You are trustworthy and do not lie.
Remind her that you have made an incalculable investment in her life, beginning at the cross and continuing to this very moment. And through it all, you have priviledged her to know the real you, the part of you which holds your tender passion and fierce determination. There are so many who wander in life, lost and confused without any idea they were created for a purpose which transcends life and time, but you have given her truth. You are teaching her the truth of grace, and the grace of truth.
It is your truth that heals because you are truth. You said that we can know you and you will set us free. Come to her with healing in your wings ready to restore, anoint, and set apart as she entrusts herself more to you and as she continues to believe you can fulfill your life in her. Show her the way out of the enemy's camp and lead her into the land of never-ending worship. A land which blesses you forever.
Amen"
