- however I am writing it close to YULE so may I ask the Lord and Lady to bless you and your loved ones and bring you a happy, fun, peaceful and festive YULETIDE, and, don't forget those warm summer breezes will be back before we know it
Anywitchway what I wanted to say is that HEDGEWITCHES COTTAGE 
is the coolest Wiccan site on the web. ARIANA
and her team work hard and they are wicked. HWC was the first Pagan site I joined and I really like being a member.
Just to cast aside any doubts any reader/member here may have. I want to state that I have no problem with HWC, it is just sometimes I find one or two postings a little over the top in the peace and goodwill to man stakes..
Being a bit of a Warrior for Pagan rights I find it hard to stomach some of the softly, softly approach and tend to overreact and blow off a little steam...SORRY...that is me, what you see is what you get!
I suppose I tend to be a little more volatile when I have had a couple of pints of cider. I lose a little control over my Celtic truth sword, or tongue or brain/finger link and can be too outspoken. 
I do tend to engage vocal chords before grey matter has formulated a plan to be tactful. LOL I was never destined for the diplomatic corp. In fact I could probably start a war with a sideways glance.

That done with lets just return to YULE once more. How come the Christians highjacked a good old Pagan festival?
If Jesus Christ (yes he who's mom never had sex with her husband yet conceived a bairn...was he the first artificially inseminated Human Being on earth?),
was born in March then Christmas in December is BULLSHIT! 
Was it more like the early Christians could not get the Pagans to desist from celebrating YULE so they thought bugger it or to hell with it or whatever, you canny beat 'em then join 'em, we'll pretend our little lordy was born in December and take Yule away (in a manger) from them.
Oh devious beings those early Christians....wait a minute...they still are for that matter!
