Mann Friday at the Borderline - 24th March - EasterFeaster! ROCK THE VOTE - Your rockband needs you! All Merched OUT - Mann Friday Merchandise Sells out! Murmurs from the Studio - so where's this record?
ROCK THE VOTE: That's right, the polling stations are ready, not rigged and it's completely safe to vote, so it'll be a refreshing experience! Mann Friday have been uploading a few tunes and profiles onto a host of online radio stations and websites. Most of these charts are measured by song download, voting and raw traffic to the site - so if you've got a few minutes to burn by the PC then GET IN THERE!! The Peter Pan Syndrome has already shot to number one on ExtraPlay so thanks to all of y'all that helped with that. Counting Down has once again held it's own and has been in the Queep Top Ten for a while now, enjoying song of the year 2004! EASTER-FEASTER: Mann Friday LIVE and EXCLUSIVE at the Borderline: IF you've been waiting for a long MF show - then this one's for you: It's a deal...Bring your bunny ears and we'll bring the house down - MF to play their first Mean Fiddler gig at this awesome venue - so we're pretty excited about that. There's a serious club night after we've played, so you can stay for a partay inclusive in your ticket price. Apologies to all of you that arrived too late to get in at the Halfmoon gig, bittersweet though - sweet to sellout the venue, but bitter to bear the wrath of those of you who missed the boat - sorry dudes! : Door: £6 with flyer, £7 without - we should have a Borderline flyer on mannfriday.com by 12 March. Online at Mean Fiddler: Currently £6 plus booking fee and postage - we're trying to get these tickets up on www.mannfriday.com to reduce the booking/postage fees and will let you know ASAP if we do. Although we can't guarantee availability, it is quite a big venue so tickets should be available at the door if the online fees seem a tad steep. How to get there: MAP ALL MERCHED OUT - It must be something to do with the weather, but the Mann Friday Merchandise has been ablaze over the last four weeks, big up to all of you buying our records, it really makes a big difference to this entire mission - HOWEVER, the sudden rush has left the warehouse bare and we are currently waiting for new runs of both Tom Coffee and Apple Source albums. So apologies to those of you who want to order some tunes - we recommend either holding off or placing your order and just chill while we get the stock back in. STUDIO TALK - Mann Friday seem on track to get the long awaited third full band album out - Selfish Heart WILL sneak into the studio and get sorted out for good, as well as new tracks The Dancer and I Must Tell You to grace the live circuit together with the well received Not Alone and Drowning Out. Following the success of Counting Down and The Shadegame on Apple Source there will be at least two elec-coustica tracks on the record as well. There is a good chance that there will be a limited edition run of the album in May so grab-it! Otherwise, we've gotta say that 2005 so far has been an absolutely brilliant ride, and it's just getting started - thanks to all of you for your support. Oh yeah, one more thing, please send your gig pics to mannfriday@gmail.com and try and send them as 800x600 pics if you can. Nice.. Kick the winter.. it's almost over :-) , MF - March 2005
