Hunting Hunting has no place in modern society. It is an anochronism and should be consigned to history. When I worked in aviation at Heathrow I was always amazed by the number of hunters that travelled on British Airways. German, French and Italians would check in cases of weapons on their way to Scotland. When I lived in Africa these same nationalities plus rich Americans and Brits paid thosands to hunt game as trophy animals. The guides are not averse to taking bribes and allowing clients to hunt animals that are not on the licence. See the girl that Harry is seeing, her education was paid for using blood money as her father has a hunting ranch in Zimbabwe.   I was sickened to read today that Greenland is about to liccence the hunting of Polar Bear for trophy hunters. At present native Greenlanders are allowed to shoot 100 bears per annum for food and clothing. It is not known how many hunting licences will be sold at around £10,000 per bear.   PB's are a species in decline, their habitat is under threat and it would only take a natural disaster to push them to the brink of extinction
