We are told that many Churches as in Christian buildings are built on original Pagan places of worship.

I am convinced in the truth of this statement.

Do you feel the spirits  of the dead?

When I wander around the burial grounds in daylight I feel a profound feeling of peace. The old grave stones exude tranquility, In some there are Pagan or Celtic crosses. many hold heroes of the World Wars, warriors for peace and freedom.  Often there is wildlife around. Blackbirds, thrush, robin and tits. You may spot a fox or rabbit, amongst all the death there is life.

 

Visit a graveyard at night and the ambience can be so different. Spooky, threatening, scary. How much of this is in our imagination. We conjure up these feelings from our mind.
