The ONLY goal of the "I Am Project" is to let our elected officials know that Pagans dwell in all levels of society and all areas of employment.  Also, it is to show the elected official that they may meet Pagans all the time and never know it.

The stereotypes that Hollywood produces are inaccurate.  We are asking all Pagans to fill out a postcard, with a picture from your area, and send it the President of the United States.

 

On the back, we ask that you write "I am a Pagan  _______".   The blank is for your occupation, whether it be banker, lawyer, or Mother.

 

Also on the bottom, write "I am free. We are united." This will tie all the cards in the Project together.

 

Also, please include your return address as your security needs warrant so that it will be considered by your elected official.

 

Our goal is for everyone to mail their postcards the week of Summer Solstice, June 18 - 23, 2001.

 

Many are also sending in postcards to their US Congressional officials, Governors, state legislatures and local elected officials.  We would encourage this because the state and local officials are the ones that will be running for the US Congress next year, and those campaigns have already started.
