Heavily Involved in many poker communities |  | As many agree, reading books and listening to others' opinions is all well and good and can be helpful, but the best instruction that one could ever receive is live interaction throughout a live tourney. Of course, this can't be done in a live tournament but it CAN be done online! Just for the record, I have placed in the money in a few WPT events (most recently 36th of 674 at Foxwoods after having chip lead for a few days straight, 40th of 438 at Shooting Stars and cashed at the 25k buyin WPT Championship at Bellagio and WSOP 2k NL), have won 80+ multi table tourneys on Paradise including WPT/WSOP main event seats 12+ times and the 35k/50k/100k tourney 6 times among others and many, many final tables (270+) and 1000's of sng's. So you will be getting advice from someone who has a bit of a record. ;-) You can also speak with me while you watch me play a tourney. This will help you understand certain plays, mindset, importance of bet amount and position and how and when to advertise and why. *note: As I have many players now (over 250), I will no longer be taking any players that are looking for just a single session sng's, etc. All of my players now are doing 8-24 hr pkgs. and due to the recent influx of players, I need commit to those players and give them my full attention and now choose which players I commit myself to. I like to make sure that I can give VERY personal attention to any player I take on so I must be selective. I am looking for committed, determined players that are willing to put the time into the game that is required. There was a time when I could just take on anyone who wanted help. Sadly, it is no longer that time so I need to select those with the time and BR that will allow them to be successful. I need to know that I truly helped a player and an hour or two will help but won't make the changes and improvements needed to win consistently. I am sure you understand as I am only one guy.
Pricing used to be $200 per hour but now is quite simple.
8 hrs. = $1500
16 hrs. = $2800
24 hrs. = $4200
plus 25% of any SIGNIFICANT winnings we achieve during one of our sessions. (if we win a few hundred dollars, we don't worry about the 25%,etc..) * I usually just base it on if it's an amount that covers the pkg cost or close to it....
*payments are made through poker site fund transfers only.
I am very laid back with everything.
As for payment, I keep telling everyone that they don't have to pay up front but everyone seems to do so. You can do 1/2 and 1/2, quarters, thirds, whatever, I am easy...
As for scheduling, just let me know which tourney you would like to do and I will schedule it in; if I can not accomodate that one, then I can usually accomodate one shortly after.
As for when we do the hours, it is a very relaxed pace. I have some that cram in 24 hours in 3 days and others that have been working on a 8 hour package over months. I do recomend that we finish your package within a reasonable amount of time however.
