| One of the newer varieties of the Polish is a beautiful bird from Germany. This variety of the Poland (Polish) bird is recognized only in Germany so far. Mr. Johannes Schilling of Greiz, Germany is the son of the founder of this variety. This variety has been evolving for about 50 years. They are Golden Lace with a mottle of white at the tip of each feather. The wings and tail feathers along with the crest have more white than the body plumage. The first generation of Tollbunt should be bred back because the mottling will not be very prevalent. The second generation will show more mottling than the first. Mr, and Mrs. Terry Beebe, who reside in England, obtained this particular picture from the International Poland Club. The Beebe's have several of these birds in their pens. |
