But none of the above answers are good enough.
The Bible says:
John 3:3:
"Jesus said, Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God".
John 3:15:
"That whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life".
John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life".
Romans 3:23:
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God".
Romans 6:23:
"For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus the Anointed One....".
Acts 2:21:
"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved".
Ephesians 2:8-9:
"For by grace are you saved through faith
and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God -
not by works lest any man should boast".
You can't get your ticket by works, but only through Jesus.
Jesus is the only Way.
You can only get it through forgiveness of your sins.
But Jesus paid the price for all of our sins
through the blood that He shed when He died on Calvary.
But on the third day, He was raised from the dead by God.
Romans 10:9-10:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shall believe in thy heart that
God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation".
What's more, God says that if you'll just ask,
He will place His Spirit (Life) into your heart,
and you'll become His very own child!
Luke 11:13 (b):
".....How much more shall your heavenly Father
give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?".
1 Corinthians 12:13:
"For by one Spirit are we all baptized (born)
into one Body (God's family)".

Then pray this suggested prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins.
I believe that Jesus is Your Son,
that He died for my sins at Calvary,
and that You raised Him from the dead on the third day.
I ask You for Your Holy Spirit,
that He would come into my heart right now,
and make me Your very own child.
I thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness, so that I can live with You eternally.
Thank You, Jesus, for dying for me.
I ask You to be the Lord of my new life.
And from this moment on, I will live for you.
