demi was born 33 weeks gest spent 10 days in nicu no probs since kaitlin born 23 weeks spent 3/4 months in nicu 3 operations and now doing well joshua born at 19 weeks sadly died

Ben 13 yrs our kev an perry teenager Luke 11 yrs 3 weeks earley by em sec due to distress & dipping heart rate (smallest of all at 4lbs 5oz) George sadley born at angel at 37 weeks James 7 weeks earley due to resus- blood problems weighing 4lb 9oz stayed in nicu 3 weeks Victoria born 7lb 1oz 2 weeks earley coinsultant did'nt want to take any chances

James was born 7 weeks earley due to having resus blood problems between him and my wife Val after being very closley monitered many scans and tests between our local hospital and kings college who were both brilliant they notciced that James was getting very animic so needed to be delivered altrhough they could have done the procedure in utro before he was born as he was a good size the consultantrs considered it safer to deliver him earley rather then do the transfusions before he was born.The day he was born he had 2 transfusions and was also put under ultra violet lights as her also had severe Jaundice.Hes now just over 2 and doing realey well and shows no ill effects from his stay in nicu duncan

Kya Rose aged 3 Toby Robert would be 10 lost him to a miscarriage at 18 weeks Luke Anthony would be 5 lost himto a miscarriage at 18 weeks

Kya was born at 27 weeks gest She was born was a spinal defect (sacral agenesis) Shw spent 5 months in nicu at qmc Nottingham Shw suffered bleeding in her lungs, bleeding in the brain, 2 bowel operation for NEC, laser eye surgery, a spina bifida scare and MRSA. She was diagnosed with cerebal palsy last summer. But is doing extremely well as she was not expected to survive and was discharged from nicu in April 2003 to spend her remaining time at home.

Daniel was born a full 16 weeks early (24 weeks on the day) weighing 1lb 9ozs
He had a PDA at 10 weeks, IVH, ROP (resolved) and after twelve monthshad a hernia repair.
Befoe he came home he had been in 5 hospitals and travelled over 500 miles!!!

James was born just over a year after we lost his brother George because of resus-problems he was delivered 3 weeks earley needed 2 transfusionsthe day he was born stayed in nicu 3 weeks is now a typical boystus toddler and been joined by a baby sister to whos fast catching upto James duncan

Jack was born at 28 weeks weighing 1lb 12oz. He spent 97 days in the NICU and came home on oxygen and a feeding tube. He had the feeding tube until he was about 15 months (actual age) due to reflux and oral aversion. He was also an IUGR baby and is still very small now. Apart from this he is doing great and developmentally he has caught up for his age.

Dylan was born 24 weeks early (to the day). He spent 105days in the NICU. He had PDA surgery at 1 week old.and a Bi-Lateral hernia repair a weekbefore coming home. Cronic lung is still an issue. He came home on oxygen(0.1 at 100%) and an apnea monitor, which he was taken off after a month at home. he is now 6months old (11 weeks corrected age) and doing wonderfully!!
