Tips to Share:
PRACTICE, PRACTICE PRACTICE.  You cannot just pick up a camera and become a PRO overnight (believe me, I tried!!! ha hah a).  You have to find your own "style" and learn to follow your heart, all while making sure you nail the technical details.  It's hard.  I still struggle.  But at least I get paid for doing what I love.

Biography

I am a mommy to four toddlers, and live in the Cincinnati area.  I started photographing things (children, places, etc.) about 7 years ago on a trip to Europe with my husband.  Once I had my first child, I was hooked on taking photos.  Someone commented to me that my photos were better than "Sears" hands down (ha go figure!)... and I should do this as a career. My husband was incredibly supportive so I quit my job in corporate America (I worked in I.T. at Ernst & Young) and started my own business.  It's been a long uphill road to get where I am today (and I've still not reached my goals - but am getting there with lots of practice and perseverance) but I can truly say I love what I do.  To capture a brief moment in time, one which will be gone all too soon - and see the moms cry when they look at my photos - that makes it all worthwhile.
