Bushy -uni- Aviation- military- Finance - merchant banking - back to the bush in that order . 50+ Married - .Daughter that is a cross between queen mum and Albert Einstein and Rumpole of the Bailey  she thinks  :-) Phone 0429200024   Have research interests in Cabin crew health such as circadean rhythem fatigue  pregnancy  dry  air etc etc specific on pergomamnce and human factors   Although not the reason joined this group . Long Term association via finance and aviation interests with Qantas. Many ex military types in QF and good mates also in cabin such as Tony Mac and many others.   Writer has also be involved in QF training  so have met many of you over the years. All fond memories and probably a scarred liver as a result .EG 6 pack jack . Mal French Jules and speedy et al   Also exposure to tech crew and engineering

I worked for Ansett 1974 - 1985 at SYD. I hold fond memories of the following Qantas "Trolley Dollies" :- Jane (dec), Elizabeth (dec), Lola (dec), Teraze (dec), Finella (dec), Rosebud (dec), Belle (retired), Wendy, Tully, Lil, Millie, the outragous Maisy, Phyllis, Greta, Meg, Betty, Kevin and Barry. A few girls I worked with at  AN became F/A - Amanada Brindle, Sabrina Ferguson, Maureen Errington and Cherryl Wachholz.  Those were the days.

A bit about me:-

I am a retired United Air Lines pilot married to a UAL flight attendant.  I spent 11 years in the middle east flying for 9 different airlines. During my career with UAL I flew the Sydney and Melbourne trips and dated a Ansett Flt. ATT. for 10 years.   I also am the Area Representative for the Retired United Pilots Association.    RUPA  My wife and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and she flies out of McCarron Airport here.  She now has 31+ years and is not sure how soon she will retire but is still enjoying the work as it is mostly short haul.  If you get here give us a call. I remember partying with Qantas crews in several different countries.    My last parties with Qantas crews was in Honolulu on theroof top hotel overlooking the west end of Wakiki beach.  Many good times to remember!!!!!!  Have several names of Qantas Flight Attendants that I met over the years in my log.
