| The Qantas Flight Hostess Club Our Patron is Nancy Bird-Walton The Qantas Flight Hostess Club was formed in 1965 and has approximately 300 members in Australia and overseas, mostly ex Hosties, but some still flying.
The Executive Committee are based in Sydney, with Branches in Queensland and Victoria.
Membership is open to all women who have been engaged as Flight Hostesses/Attendants with Qantas or closely associated with this Section of the Company. The objects of the Club are to foster social and sporting activities among Members with their families and friends, as well as liaise and promote goodwill with Qantas.

Introduction of the New "Jungle Green" Uniforms Our Newsletter, Etcetera/Jetcetera, is published 3 times a year and contains information about functions, what are members are doing, lots of gossip, aviation snippets etc. etc. A glossy magazine, Jetcetera, contains more in-depth articles about our members activities and is a very professional publication. It appears every 18 months or so.
Annual Membership fees are $20, due in January each year. This covers costs of postage of newsletters, invitations etc. We have four to six functions a year, and includes our AGM/Dinner for members only, at a central Sydney venue, with interesting Guest Speakers, and a Christmas Cocktail Party attended by Members, partners and friends.
Any funds raised during the year, are donated to various charities, such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service, The Shepherd Centre, Child Flight Helicopter Service, Historic Aircraft Restoration Society, The Garvan Institute and Sunny Fields.
