Aishea; (Pronounced ~ I-shie-a) Is the Embodiment of the God and Goddess ~Male and Female ~ as one, the ‘All.’
I have always been pulled to the feminine powers of the God's. This is comfortable within my spirituality. Yet, I also give reverence unto the God for within the powers that be, there must be a balance.
When I was a small child, my Great Grandmother would teach me many amazing things. In her wisdom she instructed me on the powers found within nature, the energy held within a blade of grass and the magick all around us. She also taught me to give honor to the God/s; Earth Mother and Sky Father.
Yet, I was also to learn about a lesser known God/Goddess my Great Grandmother called; Aishea. That part of the Gods which holds both the male and female energies within one power. The 'All'. Aishea is a deity that may be called by whatever name you seek the God's within. God or Goddess, Male or Female, together or independently. Aishea, is the divine immortal absolute, joined as one spirit.
The fundamental belief that the God and/or Goddess exists, is not merely an idea or concept, but simply a reality for most of us. Nevertheless, mankind has had the need to separate the powers of the Gods, be it God and/or Goddess according to their on personal desires, needs and even sexuality. One part male, one part female.
Aishea is found within that balance that goes beyond description, that part of the Goddess and God knowable within our very spirits. He/She is that part of spirituality that we personally identify with.
In our private worship and respect unto the God/s, we search for and prepare to dedicate our time and energy to become one with the God/s in His or Her persona according to our imagine of them. We need not speak of the proof of the existence of the God/s or whether She/He is female or male, for this concept should not pose any problem, for Aishea as God/Goddess is both female and male.
Aishea is the ‘All’. A deity and entity that has always been; both male and female, good and bad, day and night, the dark and the light. Neither superior over the other but equal according to their own existence. Separate only in how we perceive them, neither existing without the other, for Aishea is the "All".
Most of us understand that the ‘Powers That Be’, are encompassed by both the male and female energy and that even within the divine, there must be a balance. We seek that part of these powers, greater than ourselves, yet still equal somehow to us. In one way or another we are able to find that blending that is understood by each one of us. Sometimes others may share at least a part of the vision in which we see the God/s. Although most of us still hold to an elemental part of that personal image that is ours alone.
Aishea encompassing both genders is opposite and equal, the same in power and respect. Nevertheless inseparable, composing all the spiritual characteristics of the male and the female in one body. Joined together each facing outwardly they stand as one; Her back his front, His back her front. Never leaving us unguarded or alone for we shall see them always.
Aishea; as the male energy is seen as the protector, defender, guardian, lover, tempter of fate, warrior, father, and consort. Aishea’s in His male energy is seem as an empowered sage with the mental and physical strength and power to change or create within thought itself. He is the ethereal day and holds the powers found within the sun. He is the masculine.
Aishea; as the female energy holds many aspects of the eternal woman. Mother, grandmother, lover, wise woman, teacher, sage, temptress, warrior, protector, defender and guardian of all life. She has no fear of Her intelligence or Her physical body. She is the ethereal life source seen within the moon. Her powers within a breath can creates life or bring death. She is the feminine.
Aishea; manifested as both male and female, both the Goddess and God is the energy of both Mother Goddess and Father God, the feminine aspects of gentle nurturing and the masculine aspects of protection. Yet both abundantly capable of taking care of whatever needs arise.
For those who work with Aishea, they are never lost for balance or understanding from the powers that be, God or Goddess. Aishea, may be worshiped as the female Goddess or the male God. Yet, Aishea the divine embodiment of both Goddess and God is jointly worshiped as the ‘All’.
Unto the Goddess; those who desire and have a greater comfort level with a female deity; will find Her gentle understand before them. For those who call her forth, She turns to face them within Her feminine energies. Her beauty and wisdom summoned forth in invocation, yet Her male balance always present.
Unto the God; others may desire in comfort to seek the male deity; they will find Him boldly before them as He moves to face them within His masculine powers. His protection and strength summoned forth in their calling, yet His female balance always present.
Unto the All; some prefer to seek the unity of one, both the God and Goddess, in both the male and female aspects of the deity. For within the one they see the powers that are the ‘All.’ Standing before them in a never ending circle of energy seen as the great light. That which gives life and balance unto the world.
The Legend;
Aishea as with humans possesses the fundamentals aspects of both the male and female. At one time it was believe that we all shared this oneness with the God/s.
The legend is told that once in time, that creatures not yet called humans were placed on the Earth. It was a paradise for every living thing was one with nature and the life force. The creatures were liken unto the God/s each soul a spirited being holding the knowledge and magick of all existence.
But then a darkness came into the hearts of the creatures and they desired separation from the God/s. They now called themselves human, believing perhaps they were somehow greater than the other creatures of the Earth. And in their great desires they grew selfish. Each part believing it was in some way greater than the other.
The humans called to the God/s to tear them apart. For they desired to be outside themselves. They now believe that each part was greater than the other. For they were great and needed no other to share their essence with.
The God/s saw their bitter hearts and told them, once the spirit is split apart it can never again become one. For in dividing the soul, a part of your hearts will be forever lost.
The humans implored the God/s until at last they got what they desired. To were now two. The spirit and body now split into two portions, one male and one female. With this splitting they lost themselves, they were disconnect from the life force, they were alone.
That is why now as humans we are forever seeking to find that part of ourselves we have lost in another. Our soul mates. (This is only one of many like stories I have heard over the years.)… Even the bible shares in the belief that male and female were of one body and separate into two, Adam and Eve.
Aishea, is only one teaching, the origin is mixed between many traditions and beliefs. The God and Goddess are perceived in many forms and with many names, depending on the cultures and peoples of the world. In reality, the essence of both God and Goddess, male and female are a shared and universal truth. That truth being seen within each of us independently unto our own hearts.
*Footnote; This is my personal understanding from traditions and legends of my childhood. I do not ask others to accept it as their own. I only seek to share it as we grow in a greater understanding of the universe around us.
