I have ALL, am now in remission. But am still on maintenance chemotherapy for two years. My guess is the next step is a bone marrow transplant. I would like to talk to any other adults with this type of cancer. 4-30-04 | | | "The outcome of chemotherapy treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) depends not only on the acquired genetic makeup of the leukemic cells, but also on genes that children inherit from their parents, according to results of a study published by St. Jude investigators."
I have these thoughts to share, as I've been looking into a chemical that is known by the World Health Organization to cause leukemia and tumor of the brain in children of those who are over-exposed to it: n-butyl ethers; and the one I've been learning about is 2-butoxyethanol
