Uploading your photos to the Pictures section

For those wishing to upload their photos to the Pictures section, this is how it is done :

• Sign in to MSN Groups
• Go to the pictures section
• Chose if you want to "create a new album" or add photos to an existing folder. Note some of the folders (ie Arial Photos) are locked so you cannot add to them.
• If you want to add photos, double click on Add Photos on the right of the Folders and Install the MSN Picture software.
• If you want to "Create a new album" of your photographs, then double click on the "Create a new album" icon. You will be asked for the name of the Album and its Description. Don't worry if you don't put in a description to your liking 1st time as you or the Group Manager can always edit the names of the folders and descriptions later.
• Install the MSN Software.
• I guarantee you will receive a temporary shock when the software is 1st installed, because it will show your hard drive folders and the most recent photographs on your Hard Drive, all in the Background of this site. But do not worry, this view is for your eyes only. No one else can see in.
• Pick your pictures and upload. The software does the rest.
• Once your pictures are uploaded you can add the narrative by just double clicking on the picture.
• Always remember that if you make a complete hash of it, you or the Group Manager can go back and edit each step.
