A volunteer "Stream Team" supported by MA Riverways Program; formed to provide stewardship for River Meadow Brook, a tributary of the Concord River. This waterway (roughly 6 miles in length) passes through the towns of Chelmsford, Carlisle, and Lowell, MA; and feeds a series of historic mill ponds and conservation areas.
While some stretches of the brook remain pristine, downstream has several degraded sites; heavily impacted by litter and run-off contamination. RMBA is working to assess & restore these waters: for clean drinking water, fish/wildlife habitat & recreation. Join us!
