...to see more Romanians interacting, and why not perhaps even meet each other. My experience is that nice, civilized Romanian people avoid Romanian communities, and later on I perhaps understood why. I am sure that our bad fame is not well deserved by a lot of Romanians, it is sad. I see other communities and I admire their sense of unity, I wish I could see that within Romanian communities. It would be a lot to be said here, I just hope that one day something would change. And we don't need to make huge changes in our lives...all we need is small steps to start with.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE TRUST

"enriching Europeans by connecting with heritage" I'd like to set up a Romanian student society in the Reading/Thames Valley area of the UK. I am Stephen Cox, founder and director of the European Heritage Trust, (based in Reading UK), a charitable educational-cultural organisation for the purpose of helping young Europeans bond with heritage and tradition and exchange with each other. We have a school and a European student network, a library (including a Romanian section which we would like to see grow!), summer camp, and research programmes. We also have a small number of Romanian students/scholars here. One of the things we have found is that it is sometimes hard for students to make friends and also they can feel very cut off and isolated. We have found that psychologically it is good to be able to meet up and socialise in the town where they are studying or working. They are then happier and more productive in their work and studies. From personal experience I also know this to be true from the time when I was a British Council scholar (specializare) in Bucuresti for a year: only three British students were in Romania including me, and despite the immense kindness and warmth of my Romanian friends I still felt isolated and homesick at times and craved contact with my own people. We wish to help create a Romanian friendship association here in Reading for Romanians (especially those age 18-28) so that Romanians in the Thames Valley area have a place of contact, and meeting to be able link up, socialise, with other Romanians, come on cultural excursions around England (on weekends and during vacations) discover England, play sport and so on, and meet other young Europeans. as vrea sa te intreb lilyell cind este posibil s aintilmnim alti romani in grupul vostru deoarece din cauza dacalarii orare eu nu gasesc pe cineva online in acest grup !!? si eu caut prieteni d epe toate meridianele tu insuti esti in lista mea de prieteni pe messenge rdar pina acum nu te-am vazut online. Este bine ca aveti doua Chat-uri da runul e greu s ail folosesc din cauza actualizarii anevoioase ma refer la cel cu IW.aici cind scriu sint mai toti deja offline. IN Chat qro nu este nimeni stau ore intrgi pe fir d eunul singur si ma uit la pagina goala . Multe salutari din europa la toata lumea.

Eu zic sa folosim comunitatea asta si sa ne facem respectati prin ce putem fi noi mai buni... sunt destule alte pagini romanesti pe net care ne fac de ras si nimeni nu ia atitudine sa rezolve aceasta problema. Lilyell cam trage caruta singura aici si lumea vine doar sa citeasca; sunt convins ca fiecare ar avea ceva de adaugat la paginile acestea, dintre cei aproape 100 de membri inscrisi pana acum. Cu speranta ca initiativa nu se va opri aici, sa auzim de bine!

Mai romani :), pai ce se intampla de niciodata nu e nimeni pe chat , sinteti speriati de cate-o descutie live ,din cind in cind ? Pai vreau sa vad si eu lume online ,pe chat, ca fiind majoritatea in Statele Unite...diferentele orare sint mici si ma gandesc ca in jurul orei 5-6-7-8-chiar 9 (pentru cei din est mai greu)ne-am putea intalni sa mai povestim verzi si uscate si fara atitudini ...esti aici de o luna, 1 an, 5 ani, 10 ani...fi deschis si daca e cazul da un sfat bun(nu cum am primit eu pe la inceputuri) :) sau cum mai vad pe unii vorbind(scriind) o engleza de balta amestecata cu romana...sa fim seriosi , ***daca ai vorbit romaneste pana ai venit aici, iti spun sigur ca tot la fel de bine o vorbesti si acum*** !! Hai ca deja de la o intrebare am ajuns sa-mi spun pareri :p. sa ne vedem cu bine si ganditi-va la ce-am spus pe la inceput...Aveti grija de voi , bafta in tot ce faceti si sanatosi sa fim ! Saluti !
