 'Peter Andrew Cooper'

Peter, a happy and fun like scout, endeared by all who new him

Born 3rd February 1987 - - Went home on 9th May 2003

Peter had been in scouting all his life, gave of himself fully to the ethos of the scouting way.

Was loved and cherished by many who knew him and touched the hearts of those he passed on his scout walk into life.

A tragic passing, yet from it many have come to know him and his family much more deeply. Peter truly a scout in the mould of our founder Baden Powell of Gilwell.

He is not gone as those who are lost for ever, he has passed into a scouting circle where he will sit with others at the Camp Fire and listen to the songs and stories of another day

Can you hear the footsteps of the youth as they run to the Camp Fire to pass the time in happy harmony

Listen, quite now as we hear the voice of him who is loved

Wanted to say so much, now is not the time, Wanted to play so much, as now time has slipped away and wanted to learn more of you and to pass on your happy willing life to others

Day is done gone the sun, this is the time of sleeping ......... Sigh, listen to the sound of their feet as they run to the Camp Fire, listen to the songs and stories of scouting evenings and fun filled days

We will always care, We loved the way you always shared

We have always loved you, Maybe more that you ever knew

Our thoughts are with you even though they are sad

Mum & Dad, Heidi , Dawn , Katie & Patrick
