Countess Mathilde here is wearing a small diamond tiara of unknown provenance.
This tiara has also been worn by her sister, Duchess Fleur, for her wedding on 9. August 2003 to Count Moritz von Goës and by her aunt Marie-Thérèse, when she married HRH Prince Henri d'Orléans, the current head of the French Royal family.
The sister in law of Duchess Fleur and Mathilde, Princess Marie zu Wied also wore this tiara for her pre-wedding gala in 1994.
