On July 1, 2002, Russell Watson had his debut performance in Carnegie Hall: NewYorkJuly2002. Unfortunately, the reviewer didn't seem to like the Russell style. Well, his fans do, and he has many of them!
It seems that many reviewers don't like his style. Earlier in 2002, he did a tour of the UK. The following links take you to a number of reviews. I have not been able to locate a review of the last concert in that tour, in Glasgow on May 4. The reviewer of the Brighton concert was so negative about the entire concert, that it sparked a big debate in the local paper. I thought it would be interesting to included that debate here as well!
