Monday Nights

Youth classes   6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.   

Beginners under the age of  8

Monday night classes consist of 1/2 hour of exercise, 1/2 hour of basics and 1/2 hour of a mixure of self-defense, katas or light sparring. The monday night classes are tailored to the younger students and are set to their pace and abilities. We will also teach the basics of matt work, including basic falls, rolls and landings.

 

Tuesday Nights

Beginners and Intermediate classes     7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Beginners over the age of 8 and returning students

Tuesday night classes consist of one hour of exercises, and the second hour is divided into a  variety of basics, self-defense, katas, sparring, weapon training or basic judo and aikido.  The tuesday classes are longer and feature a more intensive workout session as well as a more comprehensive basics list and kata selecions. The tuesday night classes also feature a more intensive and faster paced self-defense and sparring sessions.

 

Thursday Night

Adult and Advanced classes   7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Adults and Students who have achieved a level of experience and expertise.

Thursday night classes consist of an hour of a more intense level of advanced exercises. The second hour consists of a much more demanding level of katas, self-defense, sparring, weapon training and matt workouts. The students are held to a much higher level of perfection and are expected to put a greater amount of effort into all aspects of the classes than are expected from the lower ranking students. This is also the night special seminars and guest Senseis will come and share their knowlege of other Martial Arts styles.
