The Equestrian Land Conservation Resource -
Mission: Dedicated to promoting access to and conservation of land for equestrian use.
Loss of open land has been identified as the greatest threat to the future of all equestrian sport, recreation, and industry. By educating horse people and encouraging partnerships with conservationists and other user groups at the local level, the Equestrian Land Conservation Resource is mobilizing thousands of equestrians to work for land access and protection in their communities.
We recognize that without such concerted efforts, the equestrian world as we know it is at great risk.

Greenway Equestrians -

Our purpose is to keep equestrians informed who are using the 110-mile Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway. Stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to the St. Johns River, the Greenway occupies much of the land formerly known as the Cross Florida Barge Canal. This corridor of public land has been set aside for conservation and recreation purposes. Equestrians have developed over 60 miles of trails within this multi-use trail corridor, including some of Florida’s premier equestrian trails. At this time we are concentrating only on the sections of Greenway crossing Marion County, Florida. Please visit the Greenways and Trails Website for more information.
