Storyline:
Whats Silent Hill 4: The Room all about? Well, not to much is known but the ideas that have been released are very interesting. The fourth time around you assume control of Henry Townsend, a man in his mid-twenties. He lives in a small town near Silent Hill called Ashfield. One day he finds that he is completely confined to his apartment because the door and windows have been sealed shut by means of chairs etc. Then after about a week of so with no progress Henry finds a portal in his bathroom that leads to "Another World". SH4 will also have nothing (directly) that links it to the other games in the series, kind of like Silent Hill 2. One thing is for certain that this could very well be the most disturbing Silent Hill game in the series. He also said that it will feature more weapons then the three previous titles and may we hope more endings (better ones at that). SH4 will feature first person views but this will only be during the game play in Henry's apartment. Finally another sweet detail is that the alternate world will progress through the game play and not by means of a ingame movie like the last game.

Feb 3, 2004 - Some interesting news today Silent Hill 4 will NOT feature the radio in the game play but will feature it in the apartment areas. So there is no knowing when a monster is approaching. Also with swinging weapons there will be a power gage like in golf games. So you will be able to hit monsters with different forces depending on what type they are.
