   FINDING TRUST AGAIN

When many SO's find out that their partner is a crossdresser, they feel their trust has been violated.  They feel betrayed from being lied to by the person they love.  How does a person regain the ability to trust and to let go of the hurt?  That is an issue that I have struggled with since I found out that my boyfriend was a crossdresser, but because of the love I have for him I knew I had to find a way to get it back.  It wasn't until I finally realized that there was nothing that I could do to make the hurt stop, I had to give it to my heavenly Father.  I went through months of highs and lows, it was an emotional rollercoaster, but then I started to pray that God would help me to see things as He saw them and to let me see my boyfriend through His eyes, not my eyes of flesh.  It didn't happen overnight, but I began to trust again.  I will be honest there are still times when Satan tries to fill me with insecurity and doubt, but I know that if I give it back to God, He will fill me once again with His peace.  If you are struggling with the pain of having been lied to, I beg you to give it to God.  He is there, waiting with open arms to comfort you and help you through this.  I have listed some scripture below that may help you.

Psalm  7:1;  18:2;  31;  34:17-20;  36:7;  37:40;  56:3;  62:8,  118:8&9;  125:1;  112:7

Proverbs 3:5

Isaiah  12:2;   43:1-5 & 18

2 Corinthians 1:9

1Timothy 4:10
