This is an Online Sarcoidosis Support Group.
This is a loving and caring group of Sarc sufferers and Family members of those who suffer with this disease. It's hard to deal with having any kind of disease, especially when it is something that no one seems to understand or know much about (even Doctors) This group was started by one who suffered alone with this disease for six years before getting online and finding another person with it. It felt so good to know that I wasn't alone. Then, GOD gave me a vision that there must be many others out there fighting this "Sarc Monster" all alone like I was. That was when I decided to start a group where we could all come to meet and talk to others with Sarcoidosis. I just didn't want anyone to ever feel as alone as I did. Thus, SarcoidBuddies was created on April 4th 1999. We have grown over the years.
We now have 3 MESSAGE BOARDS where you can post messages and talk to others who may be going through the same thing you are.
The "General Message Board" is for discussing general issues of dealing with this disease.
The "Disability Talk" message board is for those wishing to discuss issues about filing for disability.

The "Dieter's N Touch" message board is for those who are trying to loose weight and wish to share their progress and ideas with others who are interested.
This site is a FAMILY Oriented site. We have many young sufferers who come here too. So, I ask that you please read and follow the rules below.

When using our message board here please abid by the following rules of conduct below
RULES OF CONDUCT
1.) No Profanity (This is a Family Oriented Site)
2.) No soliciting of so called "magic cures" or recruting others to buy or sell such products.
3.) No posting of dating or porn websites on our MessageBoard. This is an online support group for those who have sarcoidosis and for families and friends who wish to learn more about what their loved one is dealing with.
4.) No insults or disrespecting other Members. Please treat others as you would like to be treated.

5.) This message board is NOT to be used to promote theories or so called "cures" that have not yet been approved.
REMEMBER this is a SUPPORT Group. We are here to offer support to each other not argue or tear each other down. Anyone violating these rules will be subject to being banned from this group. I do not want to have to do this. So please follow the rules above and lets treat each other the way that we would like to be treated. So that we can keep this a warm and loving place to go for love and support from others who are dealing with this disease.
