Hello Our Sarcoid Connection family:

 We have already received many sqares for the Sacoidosis quilt. We would like this quilt to be big, so Sarcoidosis will have to be accepted as real and so that it will be able to compete with the other well known diseases. We can't do this alone. We are recruiting you ALL to send a square to add to it. There are activities and conferences on Sarcoidosis all over the nation all the time. We'd like this quilt to be at each and every one all the time, but each time getting bigger. Here's how you can help;

Send  a 12"x12" piece of cloth with your state on it (so they see it's all over the world) and you may write a poem, or put in a message, or the name of your town, your state flower, your alma mater, what ever you'd like, just be sure that you can see "Sarcoidosis" on the square.  You may send in one or more. You can even send a handkerchief if that's all you have, no problem,  just put any of the information listed above on it.  

PLEASE BE SURE YOU LEAVE ONE (1) INCH COMPLETELY AROUND YOUR WORK FOR SEWING PURPOSES. 

IF YOU DECIDE TO WRITE, PLEASE DON'T USE MARKERS, AS THESE RUN AND STAIN THE REST OF THE QUILT. USE FABRIC MARKERS FOR THIS PURPOSE. 

If you send in one larger one please make sure it's divisible by 12" so that the  quilt will be  square.12"x24" or 24"x24" and so on. Here's an example:

We have limited the size, for shipping purposes to approximately "twin" size.  We now have two completed and working on the third one.  (2006)

NOTE: We don't know how big or small this is going to be, it all depends on you.

P.S. You may put in a picture or what ever you want, as long as the word Sarcoidosis shows.

 All squares for the quilt automatically become property of the Sarcoid Connection. Once the square is added on, it may not be returned to sender. The Sarcoid Connection reserves the right to display, use, lend, rent,or conduct any use of "The Traveling Sarcoidosis Awareness Quilt" for the good of Sarcoidosis at it's own discretion. The Sarcoid Connection will NOT give out information on any member listed or participating on the quilt project except for the information already on the square.
