Welcome to railtuck, a unique resource for travellers on Britain's rail network.

Our aim is to provide you with details of eating places - from greasy spoons to restaurants - located within easy walking distance of stations throughout the UK.

To find out what eateries are on offer, simply select a region from the drop-down list at the top of the screen, click the Submit button, then select a line and click submit, and our railtuck database will find the information you need.

As our database grows, you will be able to decide when and where to break your journey ... or even choose a trip to make, based on the information we provide.

But railtuck is more than just a source of information ... it is designed to be interactive, and you can play your part in providing even more choices for other users.

If you have a favourite eating place which you would like to recommend, use the link on the left to send us details. And you can also try out our recommendations and send us your comments.

Railtuck's database of establishments is made up of recommendations from members of railfuture and eateries who have paid for their entry. The fee is just Ł15 per year, and a third of this fee goes directly to railfuture to help them campaign for investment and better use of this country's rail infrastructure.
