West Palm Beach Chopper Night #9

Halloween Ride!!!  Come in Costume

Wednesday October 26th, 2005 7pm

Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach Florida

We start to meet at the Intracoastal and Southern Blvd. in West Palm at about 6pm.  Parking is on the east side of the bridge. If you cannot find a spot, we also have permission to park at the Greek Church on the south west side of the bridge at the intersection of Flagler and Southern.  The ride will leave at 7:30 sharp.

The ride lasts about 2 hours and is about 6 miles long.  We will do the same route...up Flagler to Okeechobee then over to City Place and down to the Fountain on Clematis.  Someone usually donates Pizza to the riders from one of the local bike shops.  We do NOT race, we ride and cruise at our own pace but try to keep together in one group.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to the ride.  You don’t have to have a chopper to ride.  We have had anything from Mountain Bikes, Street racing Bikes, Balloon tires, Stingrays, Krates, Custom built choppers and trikes, you name it they come.  Each time this ride gets larger and larger.  The last ride was 140 riders on a Wednesday night!  T-Shirts are sometimes printed for the rides and sold.  Usual cost is $10 per shirt.  Usually split into 2 groups because we get caught at traffic lights.

Halloween Theme this time, encouraged but not mandatory.

Headlights, taillights and helmets for kids under 16 are MANDATORY!  The local police have been there to check to see that the laws are followed.

If you have any questions PLEASE email me at Schwinncoll@bellsouth.net I'll try to answer any and all questions or direct you to someone who can.

Check out the photos of past rides...
